there are moments in life, in love, in loss, where you start to drift—until one day, you no longer recognize the person you’ve become. sometimes it’s not just about finding your way home, but facing the versions of yourself you tried to forget, the ones you buried to survive. this film is a quiet journey through that reckoning. inspired by the song, “i hope you find your way home” by tyler, the creator.

i made this short film to reflect how certain relationships can quietly affect your mental health — how hard it can be to see what you’re really in, and why walking away isn’t always so easy. this isn’t meant to bring anyone down, just to bring a little more awareness. at the end of the day, it happened — and all we can do is keep growing, keep healing, and try to spread love when we can. so, so thankful to my friends who helped me pull this together on such short notice and have always been there for me in real life. i seriously couldn’t have done this without them.

✧ The meaning of this piece is when you are in a relationship with a person (family, friend, romantic) and you give them your all. Despite this, they only give you the bare minimum to none at all. Since you are blinded by this thing called love you don't realize it, but you already began to lose yourself (identity). When you are aware of what's going on you are in denial that the person doesn't truly love you in the same way that you love them. At the end, you reflect back on this relationship and realize that you have lost yourself (identity) since the beginning of this relationship.
